Family Photo Day FAQ
What is the sitting fee for?
The Sitting fee, established by the School or the Parent Advisory Committee, goes to your school to support field trips, computer software purchases and other ‘extras’. Your Parent Advisory Committee can also use these funds for your school in other ways they deem necessary.
- How do I book an appointment?
There are two ways to book your Family Photo Night Appointment.
- 1. A sign-up sheet can be left at the School office where parents may register. Appointments will be confirmed by a Parent Advisory Committee member.
- 2. This event can also be operated on a “First Request, First Served” basis, with interested participants calling in to book appointments with a Parent Coordinator or the School Office.
Once your school has confirmed participation in this event, you will be contacted to inform parents of the sign-up procedures.
What kind of backgrounds do you use?
Samples of our Family Photography will be posted in the school office or foyer for you to peruse.
How long will our sitting last?
We can accommodate four to five groups per hour, allowing for two 15-minute sessions for larger groups (approx. 5 to 7 people or those with pets) and three 10-minute sessions for groups of 2-4.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are most definitely allowed! In fact, we encourage you to bring pets and/or props to your Family Photo Session.
How many proofs will we receive?
Families will receive a minimum of 6 proofs.
How do we order our picture packages?
Just like school photos, your Family Photo order envelopes should be sent to the school office where they will be collected and shipped back to our Lab via courier. Complimentary 8 x 10s and the additional packages ordered will either be shipped back to your school in bulk or to the families homes, depending on the arrangements your school has made.
What kind of packages do you offer?
We offer 3 Special Family Portrait Packages, starting at a discounted rate of $59.00. Our “A La Carte” Custom Photo Sheets are competitively priced and start at $25.00 each.
