Graduation Photo Day FAQ
How long does a typical photo session take?
Depending on the type of session you choose, they range from 12 to 20 minutes.
If I like a pose, but not the background, can you change it?
No. The background cannot be changed once your picture has been taken.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Average order preparation and mailing time is 4 - 6 weeks.
What if I don’t like my Previews?
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Please contact your school to inquire about retake sessions. For more information, please call our Graduation Department at 604-433-0551 ext. 126, or toll-free at 1-888-644-4494 ext.126, between 6:30 am and 4:30 pm PST. All of our finished portraits are professionally retouched and backed by a money-back guarantee.
What if none of the packages suits my needs?
You may create your own package, add portrait sheets to a package, or order single portrait sheets. See the individual sheet section on your order form.
Will my finished Portrait look just like my Preview?
No. Previews are intended to show pose and expression only. Your previews are not retouched or colour balanced, but will guide you in visualizing the true beauty of your finished portraits.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept cheques, money orders, Visa and Mastercard. Please make cheques payable to Mountain West Studios Ltd.
Ordering Your Photos
Within two weeks following your appointment, Colour Previews will be
mailed to your home, along with an order form and instructions.
Individual portraits start at just $33.00, and our Portrait Packages are
an even better value.
Samples of our portraiture will be on display at your school. Our photographer will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about your photo session.
Digital Retouching
Our photo-finishing experts digitally retouch each graduation portrait,
softening fine lines, and removing facial blemishes and discolourations. Each finished portrait will be colour-corrected and balanced for a natural colour tone. As an added value, we will attempt to reduce glare from glasses for prints sized 5”x 7” or larger.
