Lab - Equipment Manager

Job Requirements (Equipment Manager):

  • A passion for, and formal training, in the field of photography
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work well without direct supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience repairing cameras, PC computers, and lighting preferred
  • Must possess basic math, reading and writing skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends on occasion
  • Must be able to lift 55+ pounds
  • Must have proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Photoshop

 

Primary Responsibilities (Equipment Manager):

  • Maintain, repair, and update all photographic equipment
  • Maintain an electronic database of computers and photography equipment
  • Allocate equipment to photography team
  • Assist in training of photographers
  • Assist with training documentation
  • Assist with research and development of lighting and photography techniques
  • Suggest techniques for improved efficiency
  • Assist with quality control of photography
  • Research and suggest equipment sourcing
  • Represent Mountain West Studios in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all Company and school rules and policies
  • Display confidence and professionalism at all times
  • Use safe work habits, including proper lifting and safe driving
