MWS Palm Software Installation
Installation
1. Please HotSync the files in the "Programs_Sync To Handheld" folder to your Palm device. Files are located on the installation CD.
2. If you have student photos supplied by Mountain West Studios from the prior year installed on your SD Memory Card (sometimes refer to as Expansion Card), you may wish to delete them prior to installing the photos provided on this CD. Please note that HotSync’ing will overwrite old images with new ones.
3. HotSync the images in the "Photos_Sync To Expansion Card" folder to the external storage device in your Palm (e.g. your SD Card). The time required to "Hotsync" the photos to your Palm may vary depending on the size of your school. Schools with 1000 students may take approximately 30 minutes.
4. After installation, you will find a "mwspalm" icon on your Palm device to indicate that installation has been completed.
Operation
- Tap on the "mwspalm" icon on the Palm.
- Tap in the password you were supplied with, to run program.
- Tap on a name, and then tap on various buttons on the screen to navigate or view schedules, photos, etc.
- On the Main Screen (StudentData) you can search for a student by tapping on the area just above the dotted line above the word "Again", and then writing in the first letter(s) of the student's surname.
