Clothing

Traditional - Formal - Casual

During your Graduation portrait sitting, we will take 'traditional' photos, with the grad robe and sash in your school's colours; others may be 'contemporary' poses in formal (or casual) attire.

Grad_MakeUp.jpg

Make Up

Natural is best

Thick and heavy foundation or cosmetics is not recommended. Natural is best for great photos. Use a bit of loose powder to remove shine and a bit of concealer to lighten up dark spots and cover blemishes.

Hair

Avoid a bad hair day.

Different or new hairstyles are not the best for photo day. If you want to get a haircut, we recommend a trim so that you feel comfortable. Hair cuts should be booked one week before photo day. No hats please.

Grad_Shaving.jpg

Shaving

Keep it fresh

5 o'clock shadow can't be removed. Even light stubble is picked up by the camera. Please shave before your session. Cleanse your face thoroughly to remove any oiliness and to prevent shine.

Grad_Props.jpg

Props

Celebrate you

Celebrate who you are and bring any accessories that scream you. Items such as musical instruments, sports equipment are great props that will express the real you and help your photos stand out. Well-behaved pets are welcome. Contact us for more details.

Grad Gown

What to wear under

Do not wear anything that will detract from your face or neckline. A V-neck or scoop neck top works perfectly. For a suit and tie, wear a white or light-coloured dress shirt and a tie that works with the colours of your school's sash and gown.
